SCHOLARSHIPS, UNIFORMS, COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND BULLYING PREVENTION

Presented by PROJECT 21 FOUNDATION, 501(c)3

Compassion Over Reaction; Bullying Prevention

Compassion Over Reaction is Bullying Prevention. Not Anti-Bullying. We believe the anti-bullying movement has demonized kids having a hard time and stigmatized them with labels that perpetuate the behavior we wish to extinguish. Bullying prevention is about helping kids identify bullying behaviors in themselves and get to the root of the problem, find healthy solutions, and act with responsibility and accountability. Bring our Bullying Prevention to YOUR school by emailing Jessica at project21foundation.co@gmail.com.

Dance can be a powerful tool for developing individual leadership skills. The process of learning dance teaches our students to set goals, to work effectively in teams, to creatively solve problems, and a host of other character building attributes.

Monthly Leadership Enrichment

Each month we focus on a specific leadership principle and explore how applying that skill enhances our dance practice and our success in social, academic, professional, and family life. For example, we discuss responsibility, integrity, gratitude and courage. The goal of the Studio 21 Enrichment Program is to maximize class time by incorporating lessons that lead to success in the studio and out.

Project 21 Community Programs

Our Youth Program provides free dance and cheer classes to schools and other community organizations.

Our Adult Program provides onsite dance fitness classes to schools, business and medical professionals.

Project 21 also provides community partners with free week vouchers for studio classes and discounted package and membership rates.

Project 21 strives to bring dance and fitness to the communities that support our program.  Our classes reduce sick days and increase productivity in adults and our youth program helps children of all ages find their true self and expose their full potential through the expression of dance.

Project 21 also provides dance scholarships and uniforms to students experiencing tough times and free dance performances for the community.  Project 21 supports our community through Bullying Prevention Programs in schools, community events and mentorship.

Also Available from Project 21; “Pitty the Bully”

“Pitty the Bully” is a the first children’s book in the Mighty Mini Me series and addresses the personal responsibility approach to bullying. Discussing the dangers of labels,  shows how to get to the root of bullying behaviors through problem solving and behavior “Pitty” modification.  “Pitty the Bully” utilizes animal behaviors and the stigma attached to bully breed dogs to help illustrate the common struggles all kidos face; frustration, hunger, loneliness, fatigue, and more.  The book helps to destigmatize bully breed dogs as well as kids making poor behavior choices.

Project 21 also provides dance scholarships and uniforms to students experiencing tough times and free dance performances for the community.  Project 21 supports our community through Bullying Prevention Programs in schools, community events and mentorship.

Now Available…”Dancing Queen in Quarantine”

The second book from the Mighty Mini Me series helps kids talk about the challenges of quarantine through the story of a dancer who’s classes moved online.  Dancing Queen talks about personal responsibility and the fears kids faced during this unusual time.
