The Queen’s Angels:
Positive Pageantry
Sharing the Power of Positive Role Models
Founded in 2007 by Jessica Smith after winning the title of Mrs. Colorado-International, The Queen’s Angels is a support network that encourages and empowers women in pageantry to make a difference in their community. QA is a resource for women pursuing a crown, past and present title winners and women wanting to give back to their community. Through a sharing of contacts, information and support, QA provides women with the opportunity and encouragement to affect change in their communities. Beginning as a support organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, QA now supports several major charities across the country.
Jessica founded QA after winning her first title and realizing the power and responsibility that came with her crown. After many years as a professional dancer, Jessica recognized that she now had an opportunity to stand on her own as a positive role model and offer assistance to the causes dear to her heart. After becoming an Ambassador for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Jessica began making regular appearances on behalf of the hospital. As often as she was able to help, she wanted to do more. Queen’s Angels was born out of a desire to connect with other women and unite to work on a larger scale.
How to get involved:
- Share stories and photos of how you've made a difference with in your community. Pageant winners, share how you made a difference with your title
- Share the contact info you have for the organizations that were great to work with, so that others may offer support to these organizations or utilize these resources
